Born and raised in San Francisco, Alex Holman graduated from CSU Fresno with a B.S. in Chemistry after spending five years in the U.S. Army. Having worked in every sub-AVA in Sonoma County, Alex feels the diversity of Notre Vue Estate’s terroir and grape varieties is second to none. He is very passionate about combining innovation with traditional practices as well as nurturing the marriage between science and art. Alex is also an avid home chef and gardener.
Jennifer Yukimi Tusa has spent the last two decades at Clos du Bois in Geyserville in a range of hospitality roles. Born in Japan and raised in Sonoma County, she graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in political science, and holds a language degree from Kyoto University of Foreign Studies. She is a Certified Sommelier and has been a certified tourism ambassador for Sonoma County since 2014. Fluent in Japanese, Yukimi Tusa is very active in community and philanthropic in Sonoma County. When not at work she teaches Japanese Tea Ceremony at Santa Rosa Junior College and spends time doing floral arrangements.
David comes to us with a diverse background in the world of Food & Wine. A professionally trained chef and Certified Sommelier, David is also a digital marketing whiz and an all around good guy. In his spare time he enjoys hiking the hills of Sonoma County, spending time with his wife and two dogs, and whipping up tasty backyard barbeque.
Jared joins the team at Notre Vue bringing his creative film and cinematography background to our wine club & tasting room. Wine meets film!! Stay tuned to what Notre Vue has to offer - wine, events and exciting new shared experiences. Jared is proud to be the public face of the winery. You can often find Jared touring the estate with camera in hand. His passion: learning all aspects of the family business, from vine to glass!
Alexandra Reynolds holds the WSET Level 3 Diploma and is currently working on the Diploma Level certification. For the last four years she has worked in hospitality and management roles at Merry Edwards Winery in Sebastopol. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she graduated from the University of Denver, Colorado, with a degree in sociology. When Alexandra is not at work she enjoys relaxing with a good book in her garden, practicing yoga and hiking in Sonoma County.
Almost 25 years ago Doug laid the infrastructure that keeps the Estate and Vineyards functioning at their best. Doug's vision for Notre Vue Estate Winery and Vineyards was key in getting everything started. Today he can feel pride in the development. He is the essential element that keeps it all running effectively. In his time off he enjoys hiking on the Estate and flying his plane with his true love, Julie Hagler Lumgair.
Patrick was born on a farm in the Central Texas Hill Country, and has since gone on to farm in Virginia, Louisiana, and Washington before landing in California. He has worked for some of the area’s most notable vineyards throughout the state and now lends his considerable expertise here at Notre Vue. In his free time, Patrick enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Ralph was determined to learn the wine industry from the ground up by schooling and working in the vineyards and cellars of California’s North Coast. Based on his skill, integrity and dedication, Ralph stepped into his current role after being hired as an intern in 2011. Quiet and hardworking while in the office, he'll happily talk grapes and wine with you any time.
Throw anything at Bret and he’ll tackle it head on with a smile. University of Davis graduate who worked in some of the best known Sonoma and Napa wineries. His management of construction project fit right in with the development of the Estate. He is a key member of the Vineyards Team. Bret does it all.
After living on the Estate and working in the vineyards for over 38 years, Lupe knows this place better than anyone. Season by season he guides his crew in the cultivation of some of the County’s highest quality grapes. He leads by example and there’s no one we’ve seen who can match his speed, efficiency and precision in the vineyard. Lupe lives on the property with his wife and several cats.
From some seriously complicated accounting to coordinating wholesale orders, Trish stays very busy. Lucky for everyone, though, she’s very organized and does a great job staying on top of it all. A proud mother, Trish knows her biggest accomplishment is raising her sons Josh and Ryan to be the wonderful, kind and amazing young men that they are.
