This delicate wine offers aromatics reminiscent of watermelon, orange rind, and morning roses. Fruity on the palate, the crisp acidity balances flavors of strawberries, guava, and white peach. Try this Rosé with a fresh goat cheese salad, seafood, or lightly grilled summer fruit. Be careful, though . . . it’s so refreshing that on a hot day you’ll be reaching for that second bottle in no time!
With a classic nose of bright citrus, tropical fruits, and grassy notes, this Sauvignon Blanc is crisp and refreshing. The palate offers up lightly honeyed lemon and grapefruit flavors, complemented by a streak of spicy lemongrass. Pair this wine with salads, seafood dishes, and spicy ethnic cuisines.
Our Brut Sparkling brims with aromas of ripe Bartlett pear, baked golden apples, melons, and triscuit. Flavors of baked apples and tangerines flow through on the palate, with the triscuit notes taking a more prominent stance on the finish. This wine will pair beautifully with just about anything, but it really shines with simply prepared seafood or a good slice of wedding cake!
Made up of 3 different clones from The Estate, this pinot noir fits perfectly into the Balverne lifestyle. A fruity and refreshing wine, this is perfect for those backyard barbecues, picnics with friends, and casual conversation on the back patio.
Our 2018 Balverne Reserve Pinot Noir is a glass full of ripe bing cherries, raspberries and strawberries, all covered in baking spice and brown sugar. Still very much in its youth, this wine needs a touch of air before it’s willing to show you what it’s got, but give it some time and you will be rewarded with rich waves of cherry and wild strawberry, lifted by pretty, nervy acidity. Pairs well with holiday dishes, salmon, and wild game.
The 2019 Notre Vue Sparkling Rosé of GSM is a classic Rhone-style blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre. A shimmering coral-hued wine bursting with clean flavors of grapefruit, tart apricot, cranberries and triscuits, this is a clean, vibrant, and racy sparkling wine.
Comprised entirely of the Robert Young, or Wente clone, this chardonnay is a selection of our best lots and finest french oak barrels. Winemaker Alex Holman uses native fermentation and a delicate touch to craft this wine into a style reminiscent of rich southern burgundies.
A true Bordeaux-style wine in every sense, this is as close to a left-bank blend as you will find in California. The refinement in this wine is a result of slow, careful fermentation and an exacting barrel regimen, mirroring very closely traditional french techniques.
The 2017 Notre Vue Proprietor’s Red Blend is a classic combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. Powerful aromatics of plums, cedar, lilac and dried herbs leap from the glass. Those flavors, coupled with blackberries, chocolate and fine tannins linger on the palate, with a finish sailing well past a minute. Pair this wine with roasted meats, dry cheeses, and wild game.
